Sandro Steinbach, Director of the Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Studies at NDSU, along with collaborators Colin A. Carter from the University of California, Davis, Carlos Zurita at NDSU and Yasin Yildirim, an NDSU doctoral candidate, have been awarded Honorable Mention for the 2025 Bruce Gardner Memorial Prize for Applied Policy Analysis by the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association.

The team's extensive research has provided critical insights into the effects of trade policies, retaliatory tariffs and supply chain disruptions on U.S. agriculture.
